The Capitol Avenue/Capitol Park neighborhood straddles the loose borders of midtown and downtown, roughly running from K through R Streets, east of CapitolPark. The entire midtown area is comprised of numerous small neighborhoods, blooming with galleries, coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques nestled amidst craftsman homes, bungalows and Victorians canopied under century-old trees. While still stately and charming, this area is home to a few more intimate apartments and upscale complexes.

The Capitol Park neighborhood offers residents closer proximity to downtown (perfect for professionals wanting to avoid the commute), but retains its unique character of urban energy sans the big city attitude.
